The Pittsburgh Steelers set the tone for their 2014 NFL Draft by selecting a young, physical defensive player in Ohio State’s Ryan Shazier.
At first, Steeler nation wondered why the pick was made. But after hearing the plans for the newest member of the Steel Curtain, they can now relax.
Shazier brings youth to a defense which has been around for quite some time. He fills a need at the inside linebacker spot and should provide the Steelers with solid run support. Coaches and the higher-ups are already raving about him and are confident they made the right selection with their first round pick.
