Pittsburgh Sporting News has confirmed the report, as well.
Clemons, 26, played in three games with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2012, after the Jaguars signed him off of the Steelers practice squad. Clemons caught three balls for 41 yards.
Clemons also spent time with the Carolina Panthers and San Diego Chargers on their respective practice squads.
Clemons played in the WPIAL when he attended Valley High School, and he continued his collegiate career at the University of Michigan and University of Colorado.
Clemons is related to former wide receiver Steve Breaston and current member of the Chiefs, Terrelle Pryor, as mentioned in this previous feature on Clemons for Pittsburgh Sporting News.
