It’s been quite a season for the Duquesne women’s basketball team up to this point.
It also has been quite the season for senior April Robinson as she was named the Atlantic 10 Conference Player of the Week once again on Monday, marking the fifth time this season that Robinson has been named player of the week.
Robinson averaged a double-double for the week with 20.5 points and 10 rebounds along with 4.0 assists. She shot .467 from the field and also .467 from 3-point range.
She recorded a double-double of 16 points and 11 rebounds at Richmond followed by a 25-point, nine-rebound game at VCU in which she was 5-of-10 from beyond the arc.
On the season Robinson is averaging 14.7 points, 7.2 assists and 6.6 rebounds per contest in leading Duquesne to a 19-2 start to the season.
Duquesne returns home to face Massachusetts (6-14, 0-8) on Wednesday night.
