The Pittsburgh Steelers have until the end of the day Sunday to match the offer sheet for Emmanuel Sanders. Sanders has signed a one year $2.5 million deal with the New England Patriots. On a night where Kris Letang made his return, the Pittsburgh Penguins capitalized on three power plays to beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 6-3. The Pens scored six goals on 41 shots on the night. The PSAC sports information directors released their Winter Top Ten Honorees this week and three PSAC West basketball players were on it. Among the list were Luis Leao of Mercyhurst, Mike Kromka of Clarion, and Scooter Renkin of IUP. Leao, a first-team Academic All-American, is the only male selected who has received the award before.
