South Fayette is back atop the mountain in Class AA following a 31-22 win over Aliquippa Friday night at Heinz Field. The win marked the fourth time the Lions have captured a WPIAL championship. It was the Lamont Wade show in the WPIAL Class A Championships as the Clairton Bears (13-0) beat the Avonworth Antelopes 46-14 to win their seventh title in nine years. Wade was the star of the game on both sides of the ball by hauling in four interceptions to go along with 128 yards rushing, 37 yards receiving and two offensive touchdowns.
