It’s October, which means it’s time to watch all the scary movies you can get your hands on. In the Pittsburgh Steelers’ case, that kind of horror film might just be the game tape of tight end Rob Gronkowski and his New England Patriots after Sunday’s game. Gronkowski has long been the Steelers’ kryptonite. In his four games against them, he’s averaged 100.8 yards/game and has seven touchdowns. Only the New York Giants, Washington, Jacksonville Jaguars and Los Angeles Rams have given up ... Read More
Ben Roethlisberger could be out 4-6 weeks
Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger could miss four to six weeks after having surgery Monday to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee, per ESPN's Chris Mortensen. Mortenson reported that the timeline was based on what orthopedic surgeon Dr. James Bradley saw when performing the arthroscopic procedure on the 34-year-old quarterback's knee. Roethlisberger was injured in Sunday's 30-15 loss to the Miami Dolphins. He was nicked from behind and limped off the field in the ... Read More
Roethlisberger to undergo surgery for torn meniscus
Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will undergo surgery Monday morning to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee, as was first reported by Ron Cook of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. There is no timetable for Roethlisberger's return. Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, doctors expect the surgery to just be a clean-up of Roethlisberger’s meniscus and not a full repair, which could very well mean a quicker recovery time. Roethlisberger injured his knee in the second quarter of Sunday’s ... Read More
Steelers struggle in 30-15 loss to Dolphins
In a game that featured the Miami Dolphins running the ball for 222 yards (despite coming into the game 28th in the league in rushing yards), Lawrence Timmons throwing up on the sideline, heat cramps, Ben Roethlisberger leaving the game with a knee injury before returning and Jay Ajayi becoming the first running back to rush for 100-plus yards against the Steelers this season, the ending almost seems fitting. There was almost no other way for it to end other than a Dolphins win, 30-15. The ... Read More

In what has become a grudge match of the highest caliber, the Pittsburgh Steelers (1-0) and Cincinnati Bengals (1-0) will face each other for the first time this season when the two kickoff at 1 p.m. at Heinz Field. If we know anything, it's that it'll be a very good game between two of the league's top offenses — and that a lot of yellow flags will fly. The Steelers are still without running back Le'Veon Bell, who was suspended for the first three games of the season for a missed drug test, ... Read More
