We noted the injury in our Training Camp Roundup when late in practice, Burress fell onto his shoulder after going up for a jump ball.
Plax went up vs. Ryan Steed & Cromartie-Smith. Was outjumped and fell on his arm. Leaving in cart.

The injury has obviously proven to be serious and it seems unlikely Burress will wind up anywhere but injured reserve.
The former first round draft pick signed with the Steelers on November 20th of last year. He played sparingly in the teams final games, catching three passes for 42 yards and a touchdown. He was competing for #4/5 WR duties in training camp. David Gilreath, Derek Moye, and Justin Brown along with others will now vie for that position.
