Duquesne (15-13, 5-10) fell to St. Bonaventure (19-7, 11-4) 80-76 tonight at the Reilly Center, dropping its sixth-straight game.
Senior guard Micah Mason led the Dukes with 16 points, including four 3-pointers. Sophomore forward Eric James added 15, senior guard Derrick Colter netted 13 and junior forward L.G. Gill, junior center Darius Lewis and sophomore forward TySean Powell each added 10.
Sophomore guard Jaylen Adams led the Bonnies and court with 24 points, scoring 18 points in the second half.
The Dukes didn’t trail in the second half until Marcus Posley hit a 3-pointer with 3:29 left.
St. Bonaventure, who outscored Duquesne 16-5 from the line in the second half, scored their last eight points from the line, according to goduquesne.com.
Duquesne finished with one more field goal and two more 3-pointers than the Bonnies.
The game included three ties and seven lead changes.
Duquesne returns home to face Richmond (14-13, 6-9) on Saturday at 6 p.m. at Palumbo Center.
