Duquesne (15-8, 5-5) travels to take on No. 19 (AP) Dayton (19-3, 9-1) tonight at 7 p.m. at the UD Arena.
Tonight marks Duquesne’s first game against a ranked Dayton team since 1960.
The Dukes look to avenge a 66-58 home loss to the Flyers on Jan. 2. Senior guard Micah Mason missed the last Dayton matchup due to an ankle injury.
Duquesne continues to hold opponents to their lowest field goal percentage in 45 years (.402).
Dayton leads the series 49-23 and leads 29-6 at Dayton.
Duquesne and Dayton split home wins last year, with Dayton winning 81-55 at the UD Arena and Duquesne winning 83-73 at CONSOL Energy Center.
Dayton, picked to finish 1st in the Atlantic 10 in preseason polls, records a 12-1 home record. Led by first-year James Madison transfer Charles Cooke (16.1 ppg), the Flyers return from a 98-64 win at George Mason on Saturday.
Duquesne looks to tie the school record for consecutive Atlantic 10 road wins (3), set in the 2010-11 season, after winning its past two conference road games at George Mason and Saint Louis.
