Duquesne freshman Kadri-Ann Lass has had a big season for the 24-3 Dukes.
So big that she likely has all but sewn up Atlantic 10 Conference Rookie of the Year honors when the season ending awards are announced.
Lass was once again honored by the conference for being named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week on Monday.
It was the sixth time this season that Lass has been named Rookie of the Week and that ties her for the most in Duquesne history with Korie Hlede and Wumi Agunbiade
Lass averaged 10.0 points and 6.0 rebounds per game during the week, a week that saw Duquesne lose a tough one to Saint Louis on the road, but rebound to beat Dayton in overtime.
She scored 14 points on 6-of-11 shooting and grabbed five rebounds in the Dayton win.
On the season, Lass is second in the A-10 in blocks averaging 2.2 per contest and 14th in field goal percentage, knocking down 45 percent of her attempts.
The Dukes are back in action against La Salle (5-22, 2-12 A-10) on Wednesday, their final home game of the regular season.
