After jumping out to a 28-17 halftime lead, Seton Hill squandered it away, allowing Gannon to score 41 unanswered points in the second half, giving the Knights a 58-28 win. Liam Nadler passed for an astounding school-record 494 yards and five scores in the win while also rushing for two scores. Gannon broke school records for total points, total yards, passing yards, second-half points, third-quarter points, total first downs and passing first downs. Wide receiver Justin Caliste also became the school’s leading in receiving yards and set the school record for receptions and single-game record for all-purpose yards with 305.

Despite being down by a score at halftime, Mercyhurst scored 28 unanswered points in the second half to top Edinboro, 31-10, Thursday night. Lakers quarterback Brendan Boylan again keyed the win with 321 yards and two scores passing to go with two rushing scores — all four touchdowns coming in the second half.

Slippery Rock got back on track and defeated IUP, 31-21, after out-scoring the Crimson Hawks by a slim 14-7 margin in the second half. Shamar Green finally turned in another 100-yard performance with 128 yards on 21 carries, reaching the end zone once for SRU. The SRU defense forced four interceptions, as well.
