Harrison batted .053 in his rehab assignment with one hit in 19 at-bats, the lowest average on the team. Mainly however the assignment was about getting his feel back and being able to play various positions.
With Jordy Mercer due back sooner rather than later, Harrison’s versatility may come into play with Mercer, Jung Ho Kang and Aramis Ramirez all potential fits to play the infield. Harrison did play third base, second base and right field in his rehab assignment.
