According to numerous reports, James Neal will be suspended for five games for his intentional knee to the head of Brad Marchand.
Neal had a phone call with the league on Monday to determine what his punishment would be.
After the knee to the head, Boston enforcer Shawn Thornton attacked Brooks Orpik on the ice.
Thornton is supposed to meet with the league later this week to determine what his punishment will be.
Orpik was placed on IR and coach Dan Bylsma confirmed that Orpik suffered a concussion from the attack.
