Duquesne freshman Kadri-Ann Lass has made a habit of being recognized by the Atlantic 10 Conference.
After her performance last week it happened again and this time it broke a school record.
On Monday, Lass was named the league’s Co-Player of the Week, marking the seventh time this season she has been honored by the conference, which is the most by any Duquesne player in program history.
Lass averaged 13.5 points per game and 8.0 rebounds per game while shooting 52.2 percent from the field in the Dukes’ two games last week.
Fordham’s Lauren Holden was the other Co-Player of the Week.
The Dukes, who finished the season 25-4 and 13-3 in the Atlantic 10, good enough to be co-conference champs.
This season goes down as the best in Duquesne history.
However the Dukes have the opportunity to make it even greater as they will be the No. 3 seed in the Atlantic 10 Tournament. The Dukes will play either La Salle, Massachusetts or Fordham on Friday night at 7:00 p.m.
