Friday night,the Pittsburgh Penguins fell to the Tampa Bay Lightning 4-3 at the Amalie Arena in Tampa. The series is now tied 2-2.
The Lightning were off to a quick start when Ryan Callahan scored at almost 30 seconds into the game. Later in the first period, defenseman Andrej Sustr once again scored for the Lightning. The period ended with the Lightning leading 2-0.
The second period was once again successful for the Lighting. Jonathan Drouin scored for the Lightning after about five minutes had passed in the period. Toward the end of the period, Tyler Johnson allowed the Lightning to take a 4-0 lead.
During the third period, the Penguins Phil Kessel scored the first goal for the team. Evgeni Malkin finally scored after having a cold streak. Finally, Chris Kunitz scored the third goal for the Penguins. After that, the team pushed to tie the game put they just could not get the puck in the net, ending the game at 4-3 Lightning.
Could the Flower Power Back?
Marc Andre Fleury finally made his return in Friday night’s game after Matt Murray was pulled from the net after allowing four goals to pass. Murray has been off of his game for the majority of this round and having Fleury back in the net could be just what the Penguins need.

The Penguins will play the Lightning on Sunday at 8 p.m. in Pittsburgh.
