As the Pitt Panthers prepare to take on Syracuse Wednesday in the ACC Tournament, the Panthers will need a big game from junior Michael Young.
That comes on the heels of Young being recognized by the ACC as a member of its all conference team.
He became the second Pitt player voted to an All-ACC team from the league’s coaches. Lamar Patterson was a second-team selection in 2014.
Young was also voted a third-team selection from the league’s media.
The junior averages 16.1 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game, while shooting 54.0 percent (176-of-326) from the field and 79.0 percent (128-of-162) from the free-throw line. Young has scored in double figures in 28 of Pitt’s 30 games.
