The NFL and the referees’ union are reportedly close to reaching a deal with would put an end to a lockout that has had replacement officials on the field since the start of the season.
According to numerous reports, the NFL and the union are nearing a new deal that would allow regular officials to return to the NFL as early as this weekend.
ESPN is reporting that an agreement in principle is at hand.
