Pitt football coach Pat Narduzzi has been a busy guy the past week preparing for the future at Pitt.
After securing verbals from Ohio defensive back Tony Butler and Upper St. Clair offensive lineman Brandon Ford, Narduzzi turned his attention to the quarterback position, as Cincinnati Moeller quarterback Thomas MacVittie committed to Pitt.
MacVittie, the Panthers third commit for the Class of 2016, made the announcement via Twitter.
“I have officially committed to The University of Pittsburgh to further my academic and athletic career,” MacVittie wrote.

He stands 6’4”, 210-pounds and is ranked as the nation’s No. 17 dual-threat quarterback according to 247 Sports’ composite rankings.
His film shows a kid with a very strong and accurate arm. MacVittie also moves very well for a big guy.
MacVittie, listed as a three-star recruit by 247, visited Pitt twice last week and chose the Panthers over offers from Cincinnati, Miami (Ohio), Ohio and Toledo.
