Just hours after acquiring the veteran winger from the Dallas Stars, the Penguins have acquired defenseman Douglas Murray from the San Jose Sharks. Murray is a 6-foot, 4-inch defenseman from Sweden and provides the big, tough defensive need that the Penguins have been longing. The Penguins will send two second round draft picks will be shipped to San Jose in return.
With the acquisition of Morrow and now Murray, it appears that Shero – and the Pens – prepping for another run at the Stanley Cup.
The only question now is, are they done?
