On TV today, four legendary coaches will go to battle in the NCAA Tournament for the right to play in the title game. Here at PSN, we have the Pittsburgh March Madness Final Four, which has three No. 1 seeds, and one Cinderella #16 seed.
How they got here:
No. 1 seed in the North Side region was Ben Roethlisberger. He cruised to the Final Four with victories over Marcquise Reed, Heath Miller, Starling Marte and Maurkice Pouncey.
His opponent, No. 16 seed Monica Wignot, opened eyes by defeating No. 1 seed Andrew McCutchen on the first day. She went on to defeat Ryan Shazier, Marc-Andre Fleury and Francisco Liriano en route to her Final Four spot. He advancement has some Pittsburgh fans up in arms, but it’s evident that her teammates, school, family and friends have her back.
On the other side of the bracket, No. 1 seed Antonio Brown breezed past the competition, as he took down Shaun Suisham, Chad Voytik, Neil Walker and Le’Veon Bell to earn his spot in the Final Four.
In the Station Square Region, No. 1 Sidney Crosby has little resistance to his Final Four run, as he defeated Patric Hornqvist, Jordy Mercer, Gerrit Cole and teammate Evgeni Malkin.
The finals will take place on Monday, April 6, but it’s up to you to decide who gets there. Voters are limited to one vote per matchup.
