Two years ago, we decided to have some fun and put 64 of the all-time Pittsburgh sports legends against each other in a NCAA-style tournament. After taking a year off, we decided to bring back our Pittsburgh March Madness, but instead of the all-time greats, we focused on the 64 best athletes who are currently representing your favorite teams.
We have 64 Penguins, Pirates, Steelers, Pitt football, Pitt basketball, Penn State football, Duquesne basketball, Robert Morris basketball, Pitt women’s basketball, Robert Morris hockey, Duquesne women’s basketball and Point Park University women’s basketball players vying for the top local athlete.
It’s up to you, the reader, to decide on who will advance each day.
Without further delay, let’s start with the North Side region.
