The Pittsburgh Steelers continued rebuilding their defense with the selection of Notre Dame DE Stephon Tuitt in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft.
The 6-foot, 5-inch 304-pound defensive end was considered a first-round grade by many draft experts, and as should add a much needed dose of youth and intensity to the Pittsburgh 3-4 defense.
Tuitt had a fantastic junior year for the Fighting Irish, tallying 49 tackles, 7.5 sacks, a forced fumble, and nine tackles for loss.
The 20-year old Miami, Florida native forwent his senior season to declare for the 2014 draft on January 5. He has drawn comparisons to former New England Patriots DE Richard Seymour.
