California University (PA) Vulcans
The Vulcans have not ended their season the way they would have liked, but a Mike Kellar coached team knows how to play when November comes around. The Vulcans dropped two tough games at the end of the season to Slippery Rock and Mercyhurst, and finish their schedule off this weekend against Millersville. Getting their offense back on track after a one touchdown performance a week ago is the key for the California game plan. Keeping things simple will help the Vulcan Defense, which has allowed a combined 68 points the last two weeks. These numbers are uncharacteristic of the California team we have become familiar with. I fully expect this team to work out the kinks and be ready for a playoff push. This unexpected 3-loss season will make playoff entry/seeding a very interesting prospect for the Vulcans. A strong performance against the Marauders this Saturday will go a long way in making a case for this squad.
