GAME PREVIEWS:
Edinboro (4-4) at Mercyhurst (4-4)
Mercyhurst will be looking to bounce back after a bad loss last week. Running back Brandon Brown-Dukes is averaging 110.8 yards per game this season and will look to get things going early for the Lakers. The Fighting Scots will be counting on quarterback Jon Girvin to lead them to victory. Girvin can get it done both on the ground and through the air. Game time is set for 12 p.m.
Seton Hill (0-8) at Gannon (4-4)
Seton Hill is still searching for its first win of the season but they’ll have a hard battle against a strong Gannon team. Seton Hill is still looking for a quarterback to stand out offensively. The Griffins haven’t won since the 2011 season. Gannon’s Jansen Jones and quarterback Liam Nadler will look to get back on track this week after losing to Cal U last week. Game time is set for 12 p.m.
Cal U (6-2) at Slippery Rock (7-1)
A battle of two top teams, Cal U and Slippery Rock are battling it out for a top spot in the PSAC West. Cal U finally got the running game clicking last week and will look to keep on track offensively against a high-powered Slippery Rock offense. Quarterback Nigel Barksdale is leading the conference with 348.7 yards passing per game. Game time is set for 1 p.m.
IUP (6-2) at Clarion (4-4)
IUP has been able to get both facets of their offense rolling but their ground game remains the key for the Crimson Hawks. The Hawks have several running backs who can get the job done. Clarion is coming off an impressive victory over Seton Hill and will look to upset the Hawks. Game time is set for 1 p.m.
