The Steel City Yellow Jackets continued their perfect season Sunday with a 125-114 victory over the Jersey Express.
Continuing to rely on a total team attack, this time it was Antonio Reddic’s time to shine for the Yellow Jackets (7-0) as he scored 22 points and grabbed seven rebounds and five steals in the victory.
Gilmore Cummings was strong from the three point arc, hitting four of his six three point shots as part of a 15 point effort. Lawrence Baker returned to the lineup after missing Saturday’s contest and scored 14 points with seven rebounds.
Maurice Mendoza (14 points, four rebounds) and Lamar Castile (15 points, four rebounds) continued to show scoring prowess off the bench.
Donald Hennie led all scorers with 26 points and Zaki Thomas also added 23 points for the Express in defeat.
Steel City will play next Saturday at home against the Staten Island Vipers.
