On Wednesday, the Pittsburgh Steelers announced their 2014 preseason schedule. While there are no times or dates available yet, we do know that the action will kick off against the New York Giants in MetLife Stadium. This marks the second straight year that the Giants and Steelers will face each other Week 1 of the preseason.
The Steelers will open its home action against the Buffalo Bills, which will be the first time the two teams squared off in the preseason since 2009. In Week 3, the Steelers will travel across the state to face the Philadelphia Eagles, a team that has become a familiar foe in the preseason over the past decade.
Finally, in somewhat of a traditional fashion, the Steelers and Carolina Panthers will close out the preseason in Week 4 for the 12th straight year.
