The Pittsburgh Steelers have released their initial depth chart of the 2013 season. Team PR man Burt Lauten tweeted a picture of the depth chart.

It’s definitely worth keeping in mind Lauten’s caution of not putting too much stock into the initial lineup. With just two practices under the team’s belt, it’s impossible to make any final decisions. But it’s a start. Some of the most notable listings.
– Virtually all the rookies are below veterans on the depth chart. A standard move for a Steelers’ team that doesn’t hand jobs to first year players. Expect players like Le’Veon Bell to start leapfrogging players in the near future.
– Kelvin Beachum is listed as the 2nd team LT while John Malecki is the backup center. Lot of youth at backup guards with Nik Embernate and Justin Cheadle at guard. Of course, all interior lineman will have versatility to play guard and center. Versatility is a requirement for Tomlin, who prefers to carry just two backup lineman on Sunday.
– Steelers Depot reported in June Stevenson Sylvester was going to be moved to OLB but this depth chart shows him as a backup inside linebacker.
– Curtis Brown is listed above DeMarcus Van Dyke at LCB.
– Antonio Brown is listed as the starting PR. David Gilreath is the only other player on there. Sanders is the top KR with Stephens-Howling and Reggie Dunn behind him. Expect multiple players to get shots at both spots, even if they’re not listed on the depth chart right now.
– Drew Butler is ahead of Brian Moorman.
