Making a move in free agency, the Pittsburgh Steelers have signed safety Mike Mitchell, as confirmed by his personal Twitter account.
Mitchell, formerly of the Carolina Panthers, posted 67 tackles last season to go along with 4 interceptions and 2 forced fumbles.
The free safety is a physical downhill player who resembles a young Troy Polamalu.
Terms of the deal have not yet been released.

Per Adam Schefter, the deal is for $25 million over five years.
