With the Major League Baseball roster limit expanding from 25 to 40 on Tuesday, the Pittsburgh Pirates have called up six players from Triple-A Indianapolis to add to their bench and bullpen. Pittsburgh Pirates centerfielder Andrew McCutchen has been elected to the Arizona Fall League Hall of Fame. McCutchen participated in the 2007 Arizona Fall League for the Phoenix Desert Dogs where he posted a .286/.381/.378 slash line and a .758 OPS with five doubles, two triples, four RBI, 13 runs scored and eight stolen bases in 11 chances. Three prospects from the Pirates organization have been selected for the Arizona Fall League's Fall Stars game on Saturday night (8 p.m. ET on MLB Network and MLB.com). Catcher Elias Diaz, first baseman Josh Bell and RHP Adrian Sampson were selected to the East Division squad.
