IUP’s men’s basketball team seemed to do everything right Tuesday night in their quarterfinal matchup. The Crimson Hawks dominated with a balanced scoring attack on offense, and slowed down the red hot three-point shooting of Pitt-Johnstown to win 77-66. The game played out very similar to IUP’s domination of UPJ last year in the first round in the PSAC playoffs. After posting a 4-7 record last season, the Clarion Eagles are ready to start the 2013 season fresh. Clarion is returning eight starters on offense and 10 starters on defense.
