The Mercyhurst and Gannon football teams have both agreed to renew the Battle for the Niagara Cup with a game on Thursday, October 17 at Erie Veterans Memorial Stadium. Six PSAC West players earn preseason honors
Football season is almost here, and with that comes preseason awards. Several publications announced their preseason All-Americans this past week and two teams from the PSAC West landed players on the list. Cal U landed one player on the Lindy's and Sporting News lists while Slippery Rock landed five on the 25th Annual USA College Football Division II list. INDIANA, PA – Harvie Tuck (Akron, OH/St. Vincent-St. Mary) and Montay Green (Pittsburgh/Fox Chapel) each rushed for over 100 yards for the Crimson Hawks as IUP accumulated 310 yards on the ground in a season-opening 33-6 victory over visiting Southern Connecticut on Saturday afternoon at George P.
