Prior to Friday night's contest against the San Francisco Giants, the Pittsburgh Pirates recalled Josh Harrison from his rehab assignment with Triple-A Indianapolis. Pirates Claim Pitcher Josh Wall Off Waivers From Angels
The Pittsburgh Pirates today claimed right-handed pitcher Josh Wall off waivers from the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Wall will be optioned to Triple-A Indianapolis. To make room for Wall on the 40-man roster, the Pirates have designated for assignment right-handed pitcher Phil Irwin.
