The Pirates have agreed to terms with right-handed pitcher Kyle Farnsworth on a minor league deal. Farnsworth has been assigned to Triple-A Indianapolis. The 37-year-old Farnsworth went 2-0 with a 5.76 ERA (29.2ip/19er) and 19 strikeouts in 39 relief appearances with Tampa Bay this season before designated for assignment and released on August 9.
