The Pitt Panthers started off the season 1-0 with a win at home against Youngstown State on Saturday and there were more than a couple of significant individual performances along the way. Pitt names captains for 2014 season
Pitt head coach Paul Chryst announced the Panthers three captains for the 2014 season. The team held a vote and senior tackle T.J. Clemmings is the captain on offense, senior safety Ray Vinopal on defense and junior Nicholas Grigsby was named the captain on special teams. Overall 19 different players received votes from the Panthers’ players.
