The Football Writers Association of America announced its 75th Anniversary All-America Team on Thursday and the Pitt Panthers were very well represented as five former Pitt legends made one of the three teams. The five Panthers selected were tight end Mike Ditka, wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald, running back Tony Dorsett, offensive lineman Bill Fralic and defensive end Hugh Green. New Pitt Panthers head coach Pat Narduzzi suffered his first big blow when it was announced on Thursday that sophomore offensive tackle Jaryd Jones-Smith will miss the 2015 season with a right knee injury.
