Will Johnson re-signs with Steelers
The Pittsburgh Steelers will have their fullback back in place for the 2015 as Will Johnson signed his restricted tender. Johnson will earn $1.5 million next season. He is the second of the Steelers three RFA’s to sign their tenders. Cornerback Antwon Blake was the first, leaving just safety Robert Golden as the team’s lone restricted free agent. Steelers re-sign Spaeth, tender three RFAs
In addition to re-signing outside linebacker Arthur Moats and releasing longtime defensive end Brett Keisel, the Pittsburgh Steelers made a number of minor moves on Monday. First, they re-signed veteran tight end Matt Spaeth to a two-year contract. Spaeth, 31, would have become an unrestricted free agent on Tuesday.
