When the Presidents’ Athletic Conference Women’s Basketball Tournament begins Monday night, teams like W&J and Waynesburg and going to attempt to do what no team has been able to do all season long.

The Saints enter the PAC Tournament not only as the conference’s No. 1 seed, but also as the No. 1 ranked Division III team in the nation after finishing the regular season with a 25-0 (18-0 PAC) record.
Thomas More, who has won 71 consecutive regular-season contests, will look to make it nine consecutive PAC Tournament championships.
Led by junior guard Sydney Moss, the daughter of former NFL great Randy Moss, Thomas More will be very tough to knock off.
Using the double-bye format, the Saints, along with No. 2 seed St. Vincent College, automatically advance to the semifinals.
As for the local programs, No. 3 seed W&J will await the winner of No. 7 Westminster at No. 6 Bethany on Wednesday and No. 4 seed Waynesburg will await the winner of No. 8 Thiel at No. 5 Grove City.
The semifinal and championship rounds will be played on Friday and Saturday at Thomas More.
The winner of the 2014-15 PAC Women’s Basketball Championship Tournament receives the league’s automatic bid to this year’s NCAA Division III Tournament.
