The NFL has announced that it has fined Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin $100,00 for his actions against the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday night.
While watching the jumbotron, Tomlin stepped on to the field of play, interfering with Jacoby Jones return.
During his weekly press conference, Tomlin apologized for his actions and called it an ‘inexcusable blunder.’ Tomlin went on to say that his actions were not intentional, and that if the Rooney’s though they were, he wouldn’t have his job today.
The league said that it also considering taking away a draft pick from the Steelers, but there has been no official word on that.
