Duquesne freshman Kadri-Ann Lass has had a big season for the 24-3 Dukes. Often this season it has seemed that the Pitt Panthers go as Jamel Artis goes. On Saturday at Syracuse Artis was very good and so were the Panthers. Artis finished with 21 points and 11 rebounds as the Panthers defeated the Orange 66-52 Saturday afternoon at the Carrier Dome, keeping their NCAA Tournament hopes alive. The Duquesne women’s basketball team continued its tremendous start to the season over the past week and once again, they were noticed. The University of Pittsburgh men's basketball team knows how to snap a three-game winning in style. The team, who is now 18-7 with the win, kept the excitement high during the whole game. Rewind the calendar just a couple of weeks and the Pitt Panthers were in a pretty solid spot.
