The Pitt basketball team suffered a major loss on Sunday when it was announced that redshirt sophomore Durand Johnson would be lost for the season with a torn ACL and meniscus injury. Duquesne improved to 7-5 Thursday night with a runaway 79-55 victory over Appalachia State (4-9).
