Pittsburgh—On December 24th, Derrick Colter became the first Duquesne basketball player to be named outright A-10 Rookie of the Week in back-to-back weeks since Robert Mitchell back in 2007. PITTSBURGH—The University of Pittsburgh men’s basketball team earned its first national rating of the 2012-13 season when it was ranked No. 24 in this afternoon’s USA Today/ESPN Coaches’ poll. Tray Woodall named to Bob Cousy Award Watch List
Senior Pitt point guard Tray Woodall has received some early recognition for his play throughout the Panthers preseason. The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announced on Thursday that Woodall has been named to the 2013 Bob Cousy Award Watch List. The Bob Cousy Award goes to the top point guard in men’s college basketball.
