Jamel Artis made it a point to be aggressive right from the opening tip. That strategy paid off in a big way as Artis scored 21 points- 18 in the first half- as the Panthers rolled over the visiting Cornell Big Red Bears 93-49 Wednesday night at the Petersen Events Center. Big runs at the beginning of both the first and second halves and hot 3-point shooting for Florida Southern kept IUP's title hopes at bay as the Crimson Hawks fell to the Moccasins, 77-62, in the Division II Men's National Championship on Saturday. California (Pa.) built a strong lead in the first half and held on to claim the Division II Women's National Championship with an 86-69 victory over Cal Baptist Friday night.
