The Pitt men's basketball team continues to win and as a result Jamie Dixon's Panthers continue to rise in the polls. After a week that saw Pitt (14-1, 3-0 ACC) beat Georgia Tech at home and then go on the road to defeat Notre Dame, Pitt saw a bump in both polls on Monday. No. 24 ranked Pitt, playing its first true road game of the season, started like a house of fire on the road at Notre Dame. The Duquesne women's basketball team used a big fourth quarter Thursday night, outscoring George Mason 23-12, to come away with a 72-56 victory at EagleBank Arena in Atlantic 10 Conference action.
