Former Pitt guard Josh Newkirk, who is at home rehabbing from his microfracture knee surgery, has decided on a new home for the 2016-17 season: the Indiana Hoosiers. Junior guard Josh Newkirk, who had microfracture surgery on his left knee on May 6, will not rejoin the Pitt Panthers this fall as expected. Duquesne men’s basketball is headed overseas in preparation for the 2015-16 season. The Dukes will travel to Ireland for a nine-day, three-game trip.
