Slippery Rock 42, #7 IUP 16 SLIPPERY ROCK, PA – The top-ranked IUP defense gave up 676 total yards to Slippery Rock as the seventh-ranked Crimson Hawks dropped a 42-16 decision to their rival on Saturday afternoon at Mihalik-Thompson Stadium. Buechel leads Duquesne to 34-7 win over Wagner
PITTSBURGH - Duquesne scored 24 points in the fourth quarter, including its first punt return for a score in 16 years, to put away Wagner, 34-7 in a Northeast Conference match up on Rooney Field. The win was the second in a row for the Dukes (3-2, 1-0), while Wagner, the defending NEC champion, fell to 2-5 overall and 1-2 in the NEC. Crimson Hawk of the Week: Izzy Green
It was a rough week for most of the PSAC West, but not for IUP. The Crimson Hawks had a solid ground attack against winless Millersville Saturday, racking up 303 yards on the ground.
