For the Pittsburgh Steelers, their last game proved that their consistency, willingness, and devotion will take them to the NFL playoffs. Each player had a specific role to play, whether simple or complicated, that needed to be fulfilled to prove that they are, indeed, a valuable playoff team. The Steelers victory over the Baltimore Ravens last Sunday, proved just that. To close out the infamous rivalry with a much needed win was Steelers kicker, Shaun Suisham. In this do-or-die game, ... Although unlikely, the Steelers can still win the division
Surprisingly the Steelers have a shot at the Division title after everything that has gone on this season. They are still two games back with four to play, but beating Baltimore last Sunday gives them an outside chance to win the Division. They have to do their party by winning the rest of the games they have left on their schedule, and Baltimore has to lose three of their last four. Out of the two teams, the Steelers definitely have the easier finish to their regular season. Three out of ... Read More
The Return of Troy
Going into Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens, the biggest headlines were about Charlie Batch and Jonathon Dwyer getting the start at quarterback and running back. Flying under the radar was the return of safety Troy Polamalu after being sidelined 7 weeks with a calf injury. Polamalu has been the staple of the Steelers defense his whole career, and on Sunday the Ravens Joe Flacco notice he was back. It was rare to see Flacco throw in the direction Polamalu during this game, probably ... Read More

Can the Steelers become road warriors?
No matter how many of the four remaining games the Pittsburgh Steelers win this season, they will fall short of their 12-4 record a season ago. Yet, if the Steelers do make the playoffs, they may be a more dangerous team. After six seasons, coach Mike Tomlin is still seeking his first road playoff victory. To his credit, the Steelers have had home field advantage in five of their six playoff games with Tomlin at the helm. But the loss to the Denver Broncos in Mile High Stadium a year ago ... Read More
Pittsburgh Steelers’ Week 13 Report Card
No one, and I mean no one expected it, but the Pittsburgh Steelers went into Baltimore and came away with a win. Despite having a laundry list of injuries, Mike Tomlin's team played as an inspired game as they have in quite some time and in the process, saved their season. You can even make the case that Sunday's win was the biggest regular season win in the Tomlin era. If not the biggest, definitely the most meaningful. With that being said, let's take a look at how each position ... Read More
The Hometown “kid” has his hometown moment

It has been all over the place since Roethlisberger went down after a sack in the second half of the Steelers' Monday Night Football game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Steelers' backup quarterback Charlie Batch told the sports world to take those statistics and shove them where the sun doesn't shine after he led the Steelers past the Ravens Sunday evening. Batch, who was drafted in the ... Read More
No Ben, no problem: Steelers take care of business in Baltimore
For the third consecutive game, the Steelers played without Ben Roethlisberger. After losing to Baltimore two weeks ago in Pittsburgh, the Ravens were the clear cut favorite at home. Charlie Batch had most likely the most memorable game of his career. He threw for 276 yards and a touchdown, and also had a huge block to seal off a touchdown. Jonathan Dwyer carried the load for the Steelers, rushing for 50 yards on 19 carries. Pittsburgh took an early lead on their first drive of the game. ... Read More

Similar to their last matchup, Roethlisberger will be on the sidelines and Charlie Batch will be under center. The Steelers are 0-6 against the Ravens without Roethlisberger. After losing to the Cleveland Browns last ... Read More
