One is the loneliest number that you’ll ever do. Derek Stingley is probably feeling rather lonely tonight after being relieved of his duties as head coach of the Pittsburgh Power. Just one game into a brand new season with a practically brand new roster, Stingley was let go on the heels of a disappointing 63-53 loss to the Cleveland Gladiators, a game which saw the Power blow a 17 point lead late in the game. Stingley’s overall record as a head coach is 8-31, another factor that could no ... Read More
Pittsburgh Power Drop Home Opener 63-53
Many Pittsburgh Power fans out there are probably feeling disappointment after the Power (0-1) dropped a 63-53 contest at home to their division rivals, the Cleveland Gladiators (1-0). Many of them will probably get the feeling of “Same old Power” and feel like the team is bad like the ones we’ve seen the last few years. I can’t help but feel like those teams of yesteryear would have lost this game by 40 points and yes I understand there are no moral victories in sports but I’ll count a close ... Read More
