Wild Things release 2016 schedule
The Frontier League has released the Washington Wild Things 2016 regular season schedule as they look to bounce back from a disappointing 42-54 campaign in 2015. Washington will begin the season on the road on May 13 at the Gateway Grizzlies, and will begin its home schedule on May 20 for a six-game home stand against the Lake Erie Crushers and defending Frontier League champions, the Traverse City Beach Bums. The Washington Wild Things finished the 2015 campaign on a high note with a 7-1 victory over the Windy City Thunderbolts on Sunday afternoon at CONSOL Energy Park. Washington starter Luke Wilkins (8-5) went the distance allowing one run on seven hits while striking out nine.
