The Lakers scored 28 unanswered points in the second half to down sliding Slippery Rock in a 45-23 win at the Big House in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Mercyhurst’s Brandon Brown-Dukes ran for 100 yards while SRU’s Shamar Greene was held to 56 yards on just 13 carries. Lakers QB Brendan Boylan had another big day, tossing four touchdowns while piling up 385 yards.

Gannon scored 38 first-half points en route to defeating Edinboro, 52-7, on Thursday. Gannon bounced back from a loss on the back of Brock Jones, who ran for 212 yards and three scores. Edinboro’s Anfernee Williams ran for 112 yards and a touchdown but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Knights.

Seton Hill out-battled Clarion Saturday in a 30-16 win, the Griffins second of the season. Seton Hill’s FJ Williams caught three scores to help the Griffins buoys a 30-2 lead with 7:26 left in the game. Williams finished with six catches for 66 yards.
