Start
QB Carson Palmer- Palmer had a big fantasy week last week against the Bucs, with 36 points. With the Raiders’ top two running backs both hurt, he will likely again be forced to pass a ton and should be fairly productive against a beat-up Ravens defense.
HB Mikel Leshoure- Leshoure probably won’t score three touchdowns again like he did last week. But he’s worth starting against a Vikings defense that has allowed a running back to score in each of their last three games.
HB CJ Spiller- Spiller has played well in his five career games against the Patriots. The Bills should get him more touches this week after he surpassed 100 total yards on just 11 touches last week in Houston.
TE Vernon Davis- Davis hasn’t been much of a factor lately, but the Rams have struggled with opposing tight ends lately, and Davis is due to breakout sooner than later.
TE Jermaine Gresham- Gresham is coming off a season-high 108 receiving yards against the Broncos last week. I started him last week and will be doing so again today.
WR Michael Crabtree- Crabtree is coming off his best game of the year in week 8 at Arizona. He’s played well against the Rams in the past and could have a big game today.
WR Darius Heyward-Bey- DHB had some big catches last week and could have a breakout game today, as Oakland will likely be passing a lot with Darren McFadden and Mike Goodson both sidelined with ankle injuries.
WR Mike Williams- Williams has scored a touchdown in three of his past four games. The Chargers defense has allowed seven WR touchdowns since week 5. Start him today.
Sit
QB Jay Cutler- Cutler had a big week last week against the Titans, but Houston’s defense should keep him in check today. Peyton Manning and Aaron Rodgers are the only two quarterbacks who have done any real damage against the Texans fantasy-wise
QB Matt Schaub- Schaub has been very productive of late, but the dominate Bears defense may end that trend tonight.
HB Steven Jackson- Some Jackson owners may be forces to start him, but he may have a tough time against a 49ers defense that has only allowed one opposing running back to score this season.
HB Ryan Matthews- The Bucs are allowing the fewest rushing yards per game this year (77.2). Bench him this week, as long as you have a decent back to start in his place.
TE Kyle Rudolph- The young tight end’s season was off to a great start, but he’s been invisible of late, with only two catches for 17 yards in his last three games.
WR Dwayne Bowe- Bowe has only had 19 fantasy points since week 5. I wouldn’t count on a breakout performance Monday night in Pittsburgh.
WR Hakeem Nicks- If you have some other receiving options this week, bench Nicks, who is still trying to get completely healthy and hasn’t scored a touchdown since week 2.
WR Sidney Rice- Rice has played well of late, but Antonio Cromartie should keep him in check today.
